As the news surrounding the Coronavirus COVID-19 increases and as the effects are felt deeper within our communities, our schools, and our daily routines, we at Chick N Max remain steadfast in our commitment to the health and safety of our guests and our teams. As well, our commitment to provide the highest quality meals for you and your family remains our mission. We remain committed to communicating directly with you to inform you of all that we are doing to help keep you, our team members, and our hometown Wichita community safe and healthy.
First, we continue to remain vigilant in all our health and sanitation practices. In addition to the rigorous cleaning and sanitization systems that our restaurants and team members follow, which has always included washing their hands every twenty minutes, these additional steps have been taken within our restaurants:
We have added additional Purell Hand Sanitizers in our restaurants for your use in our dining rooms and alongside our antibacterial soaps found in our restrooms. We also have available individually wrapped hand wipe towelettes for those who wish to use them.
We have moved all our silverware to be individually wrapped.
We reformatted all our cash register system so that all transactions are now contact-free.
We have removed all our specialty spice shakers, along with our salt & pepper shakers, and placed them behind the counter where they are sanitized and available upon request. After each use our teams re-sanitize them.
We have removed our sauce bar and individually proportioned sauces. They too are available upon request.
We have removed select tables from our dining rooms to help with social distancing.
We have added extra staffing at our drive thrus to ensure that is a quick and easy option for folks who prefer it.
All our catering buffets are now available as boxed lunches.
Second, as important, we realize the economic uncertainty that COVID-19 brings to our families and our community, so we have made the decision to extend our Sunday Specials to become everyday specials.
Effective Immediately and until further notice our Community Support Menu will include:
Our Family Meal which includes 12 of our Crispy Chicken Tenders, 2 family-sized homemade Side Dishes, and 4 pieces of Toast or Cornbread for $20.
Our Original Fried Chicken Sandwich will be available as a Buy One Get One Free every day.
Our Signature Smoked Just Wings Platter will now be 30 wings for only $20.
Based upon the guidance we've received from all health and government agencies, our own preparedness and the current state of our operations we are confident our restaurants continue to be safe and we remain open for business and eager to provide you and your family our Legendary Chicken. As always, our hope is to make it easy and comfortable for you to dine with us however you'd like, whether that be in our dining rooms or through our drive thrus or with our catering department or by using our on-line ordering platform Wichita to Go.
