Years ago we began a never-ending journey to serve delicious food that is better for you, for our associates and for the world we live in.

2004 | We start with one item: the chicken on our Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Chicken. It has been raised without antibiotics since 2004.

2007 | We up our efforts by choosing to remove all artificial trans fats from our menu.

2010 | We become the first national chain to display calorie information on menu boards.

June 2014 | We plan to remove artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors and colors from artificial sources from our food by the end of 2016. Because we believe clean food just tastes better.

May 2015 | We unveil our No No List of unacceptable ingredients.

January 2016 | We launch clean soups, including a cleaner makeover of our iconic Broccoli Cheddar.

August 2016 | We release our Kid's Meal Promise, guaranteeing wholesome, nutritiously paired options for little ones.

January 2017 | We achieve a food menu that's 100% clean-with no artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors or colors from artificial sources.

March 2017 | We launch Preservatives with Purpose to put artificial preservatives back where they belong-in things like paint, varnish and rubber-all while making a difference in local communities.

March 2017 | We become the first national restaurant company to post added sugar and calorie information for self-serve beverages-and we unveil our new, clean craft beverages so you can choose your sweetness.
